Its very pity to hear that the once flourishing rivers of Kerala are on the verge of extinction. There may be many reasons behind this, but the irresponsive Kerala Government is not doing anything in particular to prevent. The reason is that the members of the Kerala Govt. are no more interested in the welfare of the natural resource of their state. They are more interested in making extra money by destroying the natural resources, by aiding the people in destructing the natural resources of the state. The ministers gets enough pocket money as bribes and as a result they forget their duties towards the state. Anyway these types of activties are never going to help in the growth of the financial infrastructure of the state as most of these natural resources have contributed a lot to the tourism industry in Kerala.
